Design

My design philosophy revolves around creating user-centric, aesthetically pleasing, and functional designs that resonate with users. I believe that clarity and simplicity are at the heart of effective design. From wireframes to polished interfaces, I focus on aligning user needs with business goals. Responsive and mobile-first design principles ensure that every solution is adaptable and engaging across devices. Tools like Figma and Adobe Creative Suite are my canvas, while accessibility and performance optimization are always top of mind. I aim to craft designs that not only look good but deliver exceptional user experiences.

Developer

My development experience has taught me that a site built in a clean and simpe manner will be more browser-compatible, have fewer bugs, will be more flexible and easier to maintain, and will scale better in future. I always aim leave a project in a better state than I found it. Responsive and mobile-first development is my bread-and-butter, GIT is my saviour, and I’m a huge fan of SASS and React. I’m very conscious of perceived load times and getting sites to load better and faster.

Collaborator

I love working with design and project management during all stages of a project to take advantage of technologies available (or steer away from risky solutions if necessary), and to ensure the original vision and goals are carried through to the build. I want a user’s experience to be easy, delightful and simple, and I want that of a team’s experience in working with me too. I’m a clear and positive communicator and love working with other experts doing what they love and what they’re great at.
